Florian Faller and Adrian Stutz, developers of the game Feist, and Mario von Rickenbach will be awarded the annual prize of the Alexander Clavel Foundation. The prize is worth CHF35.000.

To celebrate the award, an exhibition will take place from the 7th to the 9th of June at the Villa Wenkenhof in Riehen near Basel, Switzerland. The exhibition will feature a selection of games from the three award recipients as well as a game created especially for the occasion.

A new version of Feist will be part of the exhibition, also a world premiere as the developers haven’t had a chance to compile the latest development into a exhibition version for a while. The new version will show the extensive overhaul of almost all parts of the game that they have been working on and represents a big step towards getting Feist ready for its release.

Florian Faller is currently working at the Zurich University of the Arts as a lecturer and researcher in the field of game design with a focus on visual art and game culture. His own work as a game designer includes major game titles like Simon the Sorcerer IV (Silver Style Entertainment), serious games like Gabarello and independent game projects like Feist.

Adrian Stutz is a game designer and developer with a bachelor's degree in Game Design of the Zurich University of the Arts. Completed projects in the fields of graphic design, layout, game design and software development. Stutz is co-developer of Feist.

After studying game-design (BA 2010) at the Zurich University of the Arts Mario von Rickenbach is now working in various roles on various projects, often related to games or interactive design. He is a generalist with many interests at the junction between art, design and technology with experiences in game design & prototyping, programming, graphic design and animation.
