Venture Day Zurich: Eight startups take the stage

Startup Invest is organizing the next Venture Day event on March 22 at Westhive, Zurich and online hosting up to 100 guests. The matchmaking event offers early and later stage Swiss deeptech startups a platform to pitch and connect with investors, corporates and support organizations in the Swiss startup ecosystem. Startups also have the opportunity to schedule 1:1 meetings on-site or virtually to get feedback and consultation. 

Eight startups in the verticals Autonomous Systems, Sustainable Tech, ICT/Fintech and Healthtech will pitch to the audience. The selected startups are:

Casus – makes it easier for SMEs to access legal advice and legal services. Its platform enables companies to automate their templates for creating contracts, speeding up internal processes and relieving the legal department.

Deski is a booking platform for office space, enabling remote workers or teams seeking a meeting place to easily find and book an office in established companies. The startup positions itself as Airbnb for office space, and it has already acquired multiple partners across Switzerland.

Fruitful – developed a cloud-based data product, including a dashboard that allows modern farmers to analyze relevant growth information, monitor plant development remotely, and adjust the growth environment based on inputs from our proprietary AI.

Lyfa – operates a zero-waste supermarket offering packaging-free groceries from dry produce such as pasta or legumes to liquids, fresh vegetables and hygiene products. Customers receive their orders in reusable packages like glass.  

Resilient – seeks to prevent employee burn-out by offering STOA, an AI tool that analyzes biometric, phone sensor, user input, and behavioural data to predict and prevent burn-out. STOA coaches employees to leverage their autonomic nervous system to ensure people can focus when needed.

Sharely – offers a platform through which private individuals can rent and lease everyday objects.

Virtuosis –to reduce burn-out and foster good communication, the startup uses AI to analyze voices through video calls to predict mood and communication skills. Cofounder Lara Gervaise started building the tool during her thesis at EPFL and today works with a network of consultants, resellers and networkers.

Healthy-Longer – provides personalized preventive nutrition recommendations based on your genetic or biomarker health analysis.
