Venturelab extends cohort to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

To ensure that as many Swiss connectivity startups can showcase their solutions and strengthen their networks, Venturelab has welcomed eight additional startups to join its delegation to attend the Mobile World Congress 2024. 

For the sixth time, ten Swiss connectivity startups have been selected to participate in the Venture Leaders Mobile program and attend the Mobile World Congress—the world’s most influential exhibition for the connectivity industry. With its exclusive pitching activities and networking events, the roadshow has become crucial for Swiss startups’ global growth.

In addition to the ten startups selected for the Venture Leaders Mobile program, Venturelab has selected eight more startups to join the Barcelona roadshow, creating a Swiss national team of 18 advanced digital and deeptech startups. The startups are working on connectivity solutions with applications in various sectors, ranging from digital learning, IT footprint reduction, and customizable solar cells to in-memory computing ubiquity and end-to-end process automatization.

The new startups are:

Beekee – makes learning possible everywhere by providing offline-first solutions that foster rich digital learning experiences, even in challenging infrastructure environments.

Canopé – decarbonizes IT systems by measuring and reducing IT footprint. With over 40 customers, the company supports cantons, Swiss and international big companies, NGOs, and SMEs are our customers.

Imverse – is a software company with the vision of bringing reality live into XR through its proprietary 3D graphics VOXEL engine which is capable of real-time capture, rendering and streaming of multiple human holograms simultaneously.

INFRAVISTA – offers an operational platform for a mobile bite to make infrastructure smart and optimized.

iniVation AG – provides high-speed, ultra-low-power neuromorphic vision systems for more than 300 customers and partners across multiple industrial markets. The customer base includes top-10 global companies in automotive, consumer electronics, and aerospace. The company was recently acquired by SyneSense.

Perovskia Solar AG – is a Swiss cleantech startup that provides digitally printed customizable solar cells to OEMs. Tailored to seamlessly integrate into electronic devices and sensors, the cells operate efficiently even in low-light conditions like homes & offices.

Scandit – developed a Smart Data Capture platform that enables smart devices to interact with physical items by capturing data from barcodes, text, IDs and objects with unmatched speed, accuracy and intelligence.

Synthara AG – offers energy-efficient AI chips for battery-run devices companies such as Bosch. The in-memory compute solutions are easy to integrate into a variety of MCU, DSP, FPGA and AI chips.

They will kick off the congress with their pitches on Monday, February 26, 2024, on Venturelab's stage at the heart of 4YFN (the startup fair integrated into the MWC.
