Why temperature feel different on different materials

Greenteg, the Zurich based startup, works with the latest thermoelectric technology developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). This technology is used in Heat Flux Sensors, Laser Detectors, and Energy Harvesting. The technology can also be used to determine why one's feet feel colder when they step on the bathroom tiles than when they step on a towel, yet they both have the same temperature.
