Insolight and its partners Romande Energie and Agroscope have launched a multi-functional pilot which will see the installation of innovative solar panels on Agroscope’s Conthey site in the canton of Valais. The four-year project aims to test a new agrivoltaic solution (insolagrin).

A spin-off from the University of Zurich and a second from the University of Basel have been selected for the BaseLaunch program. BaseLaunch incubates and accelerates therapeutic ventures to quickly get new companies off the ground.

The quotas for work permits for workers from third countries are by no means exhausted in all cantons – not least because the process is too complex for many start-ups and SMEs and the result too uncertain. F10 Switzerland announces the startups joining the seventh cohort of its renowned incubation program, which includes the first dedicated Climate FinTech track. The Diabetes Center Berne (DCB) is looking for ideas in the field of glucose measurement for its newly launched Open innovation Challenge. Up to 50 projects from all over the world will be selected and supported by industry experts in transforming their ideas into solutions. The winning project will receive USD 100’000.

The 10th cohort of the ESA Business Incubation Center Switzerland looks forward to two years of support from industry and technology experts. Non-dilutive financial aid of up to €200’000 will be provided to the five selected startups.   

97 early-stage startups will join the MassChallenge Switzerland 2021 Accelerator Program. Among them are 19 Swiss companies. These selected startups have been rigorously vetted by a community of more than 220 expert judges and represent the top 10% of applications from around the world.

Seven million Euros will flow into the project.
